With the blessings of Sri Lakshmi Hayagriva and the asirvadam of our revered Acharyan, the Jnanamrutam committee invites all Sri Parakala Mutt shishyas across the world to offer Pushpanjali to Acharyan on the occasion of his Tirunakshatram.

Why We Are Offering Pushpanjali

In the Sri Vaishnava sampradayam, the place of Acharyas is immeasurable. Acharyas dedicate their lives to guiding jeevatmas toward the path of prapatti and moksham through their compassion, upadesams, and tireless kainkaryam.

The sacred feet of Acharyan are the refuge for shishyas who seek the grace of Srimannarayana. Whatever we offer in return for Acharyan’s compassion and kindness is small, yet it is our duty and blessing to remember Acharyan with devotion and gratitude.

About Our Acharyan

Our prakruta Acharyan of Sri Brahmatantra Swatantra Parakala Mutt, Srimad Abhinava Vageesha Brahmatantra Swatantra Parakala Mahadesikan, has blessed thousands of shishyas through his limitless compassion and jnanam since taking peethadhipatyam in 1992.

As Sri Parakala Mutt shishyas, let us come together with bhakti and samarpanam to offer a short video recitation as Pushpanjali for this sacred occasion.

What To Recite

Participants may choose any one of the following forms of recitation:

• Recite Nityanusandhana taniyans and conclude with the prakruta Acharya taniyan.
• Recite Nityanusandhanam and one or two Sri Hayagreeva stotrams.
• Recite pasurams from Desika prabandham that glorify Acharyas.
• Recite Acharya taniyans.
• Taniyan recitations may also be offered in singing mode.
• Mantram from Vedam related to the glories or Acharya or Perumal.

Video Expectations

• The video must be no more than 2 minutes.
• Please record in portrait format only.
• A group of children, adults, or families may participate together.
• Please use a clean, plain, and respectful background.
• Participants should dress in traditional attire with tilakam, tiruman, and srichurnam as appropriate.
• Please recite at a slow and steady pace.
• Please ensure that both audio and video are clear.
