Our Acharya
Srimad Abhinava Vageesha Brahma Tantra Swatantra Parakala Maha Desikan Swamy, was coronated as the 36th Peethaadhipati in 1992. HH is an eminent Disciple of the Celebrated Srimad Abhinava Ranganatha Brahmatantra Swatantra Parakala Swamy (33rd Pontiff) having mastered all Vishishtadvaitic lore under his guidance. He has mastery over both the Vedantas, and is above all a Mantrasiddha MahApurusha. The Octagenerian Acharyan is still working incessently to provide moral and spiritual guidance to tens and thousands of his disciples in India and abroad.

The Mutt building at Srirangam, known as the Vedanta Deshikan Tirumaligai is a centuries old landmark. The Mutt has become very active during the last several years celebrating several functions and parayanams throught the year. It has a small tentative Lkashmi Hayagriva Sannidhi at this time. It needs some major remodeling/renovation effort to provide suitable accommodation for Acharyan and his entourage to stay duing his visits to Srirangam.

Visit Parakala Ashram in the US
Parakala Ashram at Charlotte, NC, USA was started in 2018 and is the only Affiiate of the Sri Brahmatantra Parakala Swamy Mutt outside India. An exact replica of the original Lakshmi Hayagriva Moorty, which was consecrated and worshipped by the Acharya with his own hands adorns the Sannidhi at the Ashram. This Moorty is periodically on a tour (Sancharam) across several cities all across the US. The Sancharam cities, schedule and persons to contact for sponsoring a function at your home, will be announced well in advance on this web site and also via e-mail and WhatsApp messages.
