THE SEVA DINAM PROGRAMME
Several years ago, the Mutt launched a campaign called “The seva dinam Programme” to raise funds needed for providing a steady continuing support base for its operations and maintenance. His Holiness the Jeer issued a Srimukham at that time (see attachment below) from the Mutt urging shiShyas and abhimAnis to come forward and support this campaign by sponsoring one or more kainkaryam days at the Mutt @ Rs.12,000/year (or US$300/year) per day.
The “Seva Dinam” for each year starts on January 1, of the year. Contributions may be made by Cheque/DD payable to BSPSMS Trust, and mailed to No.8, Parakala Mutt, Dhanvantry Road, Bangalore 560 009. Phone (080) 2287 1557; Please enclose a letter giving the sponsor’s name, address, desired kanikaryam day, gothram and nakshatram or e-mail this information to [email protected]. You may also credit your contribution to the Trusts’s Bank account at Karnataka Bank, Subhashnagar, Bangalore. Contact Sri Ramesh Talkad, Managing Trustee for account information.
Note for Donors from US: In the US, we have extended this Program to include also the support of the Parakala Ashram and Lakshmi Hayagriva Sannidhi at Charlotte, NC started in Dec 2018 under the auspices of Parakala Lakshmi Hayagriva Mission, USA, Inc (PLM, USA).
