Sri Lakshmi Hayagreeva Arts College at Mysore
Project History For the benefit of the disciples of the Mutt in particular and the public in general, the present Acharya, Srimad Abhinava Vageesha Brahmatantra Parakala Mahadeshikan has embarked upon an ambitious plan aimed at improving the moral standards of the society through education and community service. In order to manage such educational and charitable activities, he established an independent trust entitled “Sri Brahmatantra Swatantra Parakala Swamy (BSPS) Educational and Charitable Trust with himself as the Founder Trustee, with the following vision to be accomplished in a time bound programme. College The Sri Lakshmi Hayagreeva Arts College at Mysore was established several years ago under the auspices of the above Trust. This College was first started as a Junior Arts College. It has since been expanded to a degree college under the Mysore University. Project Description and Appeal For a number of years, the college was operating in cramped quarters in a temporary building. Now thanks to the assistance from the Karanataka Governement and and from philanthropic contributions, the College has now constructed a larger building on its own land in Mysore. It however needs continuing support to meet its annual operational expenditure. The Trust makes an appeal to all the well-wishers and supporters of the Mutt to come forward with generous contributions to this worthy cause.

Contribution Cheques in the US may be made payable to “PLM, USA” and mailed to Raghavan Srinivas, 154 Northfield Road, Bridgewater, NJ 08807. Alternately US donors may also pay by credit card. Please go to ”Payment by Credit Card PLM” and follow the instructions. Please check with your employer whether they have a Corporate Program to match employees’ charitable contributions and if they have, try to make use of this program to leverage your contributions. Contributions to PLM, USA are eligible for exemption from US income tax as per applicable IRS rules.
