DREAMS AND VISION
 
Sri Brahmatantra Swatantra Parakala Swamy Matham, Mysore, has been a pioneer in propagating the philosophy of VISHISTAADWAITA propounded by Sri. Bhagavad Ramanuja. The Matham under the leadership of previous pontiffs and dynamic leadership of the present pontiff HH Sri Abhinava Vageesha Brahmatantra Parakalaswamiji has achieved many milestones including the establishment of
a modern Matham complex at Tirumala.
a new Matham building at Chennai.
a new Matham building at Hyderabad and
renovation and rejuvenation of old premises of the Matham and Devasthanams in various places.
 
Sensing the need for the Matham to make additional contributions for the benefit of the disciples of the Matham in particular and the public in general;, the present pontiff Sri. Sri. Abhinava Vageesha Brahmatantra Parakalaswamy has embarked upon an ambitious plan aimed at improving the moral standards of the society through Education.
 
 
In an attempt to achieve the objectives in a phased approach, the present pontiff has established an independent trust entitled “ Sri Brahmatantra Swatantra Parakalaswamy Educational and Charitable Trust”. With the present pontiff as the founder trustee with the following vision to be accomplished in a time bound programme.
 
· To establish a Pre-University College in Mysore.
· To establish an undergraduate degree college affiliated to the University of Mysore, in Mysore, offering courses like B.Sc, Biotech, BBM (Bachelor in Business Management),B.com, B.Sc, B.C.A (Bachelor in Computer Applications) etc.
· To establish a hospital integrated with Ayurveda, Homeopathy, Allopathy, Naturopathy, Siddha and other related Sciences.
· To establish an institution exclusively to provide and promote education and training to the physically challenged individuals.
· To establish and manage Vruddhashrama (Old age home) in Mysore.
· To establish a working-women hostel in Mysore.
· To establish orphanages for the needy and poor. [Abalashrama and Anathashrama].
 
DREAMS REALISED
 
Establishment of a pre-University college entitled “Sri Lakshmi Hayagreeva Pre-University College, No.211, Dewan’s Road, Mysore. Ph- 0821/2428484, in the year 2004. This college with a strength of more than 400 students has been catering to the needs of Pre-University students of Science and Commerce with equivocal importance for the last four years, yielding results of appreciation by students, parents and the public alike.
Establishment of an undergraduate degree college entitled “Sri Lakshmi Hayagreeva Institute of Science, Commerce and Management offering courses like B.Sc, Biotechnology, BBM, B.Com , BCA with a strength of 400 students catering to the needs of modern competitive education providing
infrastructure centric governance for the Last 4 years.
Taking over the management of a pre university college of Arts with a
Strength of 200 students in the town of Melukote catering to the needs of the poor and rural population in and around the town.
Instituting a unique “annadAna”programme under the direct guidance of the present pontiff of Sri Parakala Matham of providing free mid-day meals to the students of Melukote College, which is a matter of pride and delight.
The Trust has already purchased two CA sites in MYSORE in a suitable
location to have its own building in order to realize part of the vision.
The established institutions, i.e., pre-university colleges in MYSORE and
Melkote, the under graduate degree college in MYSORE are all provided with good administration, competitive teaching staff, well established laboratories and libraries.
 
APPEAL
 
It is further a necessity to have the state-of-the-art infrastructure for
mobilizing and administering project resources and to develop technical skills for ascertaining competitive soundness among the inmates of the institutions to be housed in the new building to be constructed in Mysore and Melukote.
 
“ Establishment of a state-of-the-art infrastructure requires a huge investment and a spate of investor friendly people and policies.”
 
In this direction, to provide holistic and domain=ready infrastructure the Trust fervently makes an appeal to the philanthropic, like-minded disciples of the Matham and general public, well wishers and NRIs’ to liberally donate for fulfilling the expansion, vision, enhancing the skill, and to power the dreams to be realized under the benevolent guidance of the present pontiff of Sri Parakala Matham in order to provide breadth of mind, tolerance of outlook, value of friendship and fellow-feeling, standing above the constraints of caste or religion, among the younger generation through education which is acceptably the need of the hour.
