3. Tritiya Brahmatantra Swatantra Parakala Maha Desikan (1394 ACE - 1406 ACE)

Shri Shrinivasa Brahmatantra Swatantra Swamy succeeded Vatsya Vedanta Ramanuja Swamy. He came to be known as Tritiya Brahmatantra Swatantra Maha Deshikan. He was a scholar of great merit and authored many scholarly works including muvaayirappadi on guruparampara prabhaavam. He has also composed a suprabhatam on Swamy Deshikan.

Sri Tritiya Brahmatantra Swatantra Maha Deshikan was a follower of pancha kaala patha and was known for his jnana, vairagya and anushtanam. He undertook turiyaashramam in the year 1380 ACE and remained the head of the institution till 1405 ACE. His taniyan runs as follows -

shrayaamOvaatsya vEdaanta Ramanuja krupaaspadam |
brahmatantra svatantram shrii shriinivaasaguruuttamam || "
