New Upanyasam section ,Sri ramanuja Daya Pathram Thaniyan Avathara Uthsavam @ Sri Parakala Mutt Kanchipuram

In his poorvaashramam, he was a great advaitin. He once came to Kanchipuram along with a hundred disciples in order to participate in vedantic debate and disputations against Sri Brahmatantra Swatantra Maha Deshikan. The debate went on for almost a week. Before the final day, he had a beautiful dream in which he saw Lord Thiruvenkatamudaiyaan preach him the greatness of the philosophy of Vishishtaadvaitha. At daybreak, after finishing his ordained duties, he started looking into certain works of old masters that he had in his possession. He understood that whatever the Lord had told him in his dream was totally true and found it to be completely conformant to Vedic teachings. He decided that he would be a follower of this philosophy, seconded by the Lord Himself. He came to Sri Brahmatantra Swatantra Maha Deshikan and requested him to initiate him into the Sri Vaishnavite faith of Sri Ramanuja sampradayam. He studied grantha chatushtayams at the feet of Sri Brahmatantra Swatantra Swamy and also requested Sri Brahmatantra Jeer to initiate him to the holy fourth order or sanyaasaashramam. Sri Brahmatantra Swatantra Jeer who was already very old, was looking for a befitting successor. Upon hearing this Sri Brahmatantra Swatantra Maha Deshikan was elated beyond limits. He understood that it was none other than Lord Thiruvenkatamudaiyaan Himself who has heard his prayers and sent him an eligible candidate who could continue to be the torchbearer of Sri Desika sampradayam. Sri Brahmatantra Swatantra Swamy after initiating him into the fourth order, crowned his successor as Sri Dvitiya Brahmatantra Swatantra Maha Deshikan and named him as Sri Vaatsya Vedanta Ramanuja Swamy in the year 1386 ACE. Sri Dvitiya Brahmatantra Swatantra Swamy was very powerful in philosophical issues. He continued in the lines of his acharya Sri Brahmatantra Swatantrar and won over several disciples of great merit and fame. He also preached everyone to adopt the mode of prapatti as the sure means of salvation. He initiated all his former disciples into Ramanuja matham and expanded the Sri Matham library with his vast collection of rare authentic works of the masters of yore. Sri Dvitiya Brahmatantra Swamy was following Pancha kaala patha wherein he performed pancha samskaaram to his shishyas and initiated them into Ramanuja's faith. He conducted kaalakshepams on Sri Bhashya, Gita bhashya, Rahasyatrayasara, Bhagavad vishaya, upanishats and others. He wrote many works on Siddhantam and conveyed many esoteric principles among the deserving. He arranged for philosophic disputations and vedantic debates. He performed Sharanagati to seekers of salvation and visited many holy places and performed mangalashasanam to Perumal at those places and propagated Ramanuja sampradayam. He was assisted in his religious endeavors by many kings, commander-in-chiefs, especially of the Vijayanagara empire. Sri Vatsya Vedanta Ramanuja Swamy wrote many scholarly works. Important amongst these are his vyakhyanam (commentary) 12000 padi on Nalayira (4000) Divya Prabandhams and Guru Parampara Prabhavam.
